Karen Bergbower & Associates Overview

KBA provides a range of treatment and prevention services in Livingston, Washtenaw, and surrounding counties. The following is a brief overview of the services provided. Please check out the Programs & Services tab for a more detailed description.

Outpatient Counseling

KBA provides quality and professional counseling and related services for people struggling with substance use, addiction, stress, life change, or other personal issues. KBA services are provided in a safe, caring, and respectful environment with the goal of “working together for health and well-being”.

Prevention and Education Efforts

As an experienced prevention agency, KBA strives to find and implement the most effective and researched model programs available. Prevention professionals within the agency have been implementing evidenced based initiatives (EBI’s) for several years and work tirelessly to cater programming to meet specific community needs. In addition, KBA continues to develop new programming to meet community needs and fill service gaps. 

Assessment

KBA is a leader in providing thorough and accurate assessment services. From screening services for school districts to in depth substance abuse evaluations for the Secretary of State Driver License Appeal Division, KBA has the ability and experience to provide the assessment you need.
